Aerial America: Best Small Towns
1 x 60'
In this Aerial America special, we visit some of the most remarkable, historical, and culturally interesting small towns in America.
We visit the tiny town of Medora, North Dakota where a young Teddy Roosevelt found solace during some of the darkest day of his life. On the East Coast, we fly over Harper’s Ferry, a West Virginia town where the rushing white water stopped some future presidents in their tracks. In the Midwest, we get soaring views of Frankenmuth, Michigan, famous for its fried chicken, and New Glarus, Wisconsin, which has a brewery even President Obama noticed.
From scenic towns in the Old South to historic ones in the Old West, these are places that will delight history buffs, thrill adventure seekers, and inspire art lovers. Together, they’re a testament to America’s melting pot and proof that some of the best stops in the country are off the beaten path.
