Ralf joined Off the Fence in 2019 as Co-CEO, alongside founder and CEO Ellen Windemuth, after the acquisition of Off the Fence by ZDF Enterprises in January 2019. Ralf is also the Vice President of the unscripted department at ZDF Enterprises and has held this position since 2013. Ralf studied Film and Television science at the Ruhr University in Bochum and has over 22 years experience in the Media Industry.
Stefanie looks after sales to the US, German-speaking world & Pan global deals and joined OTF in 2019. After graduating in international business and management from The Hague University she started her career in TV sales at ZDF enterprises where she was responsible for content sales into English speaking territories, Iberia, Latin America, the Nordics and global/multi-territory deals for all genres - kids, drama and factual. She also worked at Sony Pictures and ProSieben.Sat1 where she looked after the German speaking territories. In her previous role at WDR mediagroup she headed and built up a new department responsible for international sales and co-productions with a focus on kids content. She is a native German speaker, fluent in English and Dutch and has a good understanding of French and Spanish.
Rebeca looks after sales to Africa (excl. French-speaking), Italy, Iberia, Latin America, US Hispanic and UK & EIRE. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Audiovisual Communications Studies at the University Complutense of Madrid and holds a Master's degree in Television, Film and New Media Studies from the University Paris 1 Sorbonne, and a Master's degree in International Management from King's College London.
Rebeca has a cross-functional experience in media and has worked in press, radio, TV and multimedia content production. Before moving to Amsterdam, she worked in sales for Zodiak Rights and Pilot Productions.
She has lived in Spain, France, the United States and the United Kingdom and is fluent in Spanish, French and English.
Antoine looks after sales to the French-speaking world, Canada, India, North Africa, the Middle East, Turkey, Australia and New Zealand. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree in International Business Management from the ESPEME International Business School (EDHEC Group) in Lille (France) and then joined Off the Fence in 2010, following an internship in the Amsterdam headquarters. Antoine speaks French, English and has a good understanding of Spanish.
Gem looks after sales to Pan Asia, South East Asia including Hong Kong, Transportation and Global AVOD deals, and is also part of the team responsible for acquiring content for the Waterbear Network. Gem graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Media & Culture from the University of Amsterdam (The Netherlands) with a specialisation in Film & Visual Culture. Prior to joining Off the Fence, Gem volunteered at a music & media center in Amsterdam sparking her love for the industry. Gem speaks Dutch, English, and Tagalog.
Jia is responsible for sales, co-financing & co-productions with China, Taiwan, Japan and Korea, along with the responsibility of distribution of the Waterbear Network in China. Jia studied life sciences in China, Japan, and the Netherlands, as well as visual arts at the Rietveld Art Academy, Amsterdam (The Netherlands). Alongside her work with Off the Fence, Jia is also a critically-acclaimed producer and the founder of MUYI FILM and SILK ROAD FILM SALON, where she works with European and Asian producers/directors and focuses on film productions with intercultural themes and international potential. Jia speaks fluently Chinese, Japanese, English, and Dutch.
Monica looks after sales to Scandinavia, Benelux, Eastern Europe, the Baltics, Russia & CIS, Greece, Israel, Malta and Cyprus. A Romanian native, Monica graduated with a Master's degree in Entrepreneurship and Management in the Creative Industries from the University of Amsterdam (The Netherlands). Following her studies, Monica joined the Off the Fence sales team in early 2015.
Ben looks after global digital sales and strategy, as well as 2nd window sales in the US. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Film & Television Studies at Boston University. Prior to joining Off the Fence, Ben worked in various sales, contract management, and business development roles at 20th Century Fox in Los Angeles, London, and finally Amsterdam. Ben is fluent in English, has a good understanding of Spanish, can read Dutch fairly well, and can competently order off a menu in countless other countries around the world.
Carolina assists with sales to the Africa, Italy, Iberia, Latin America, US Hispanic and UK & EIRE. In Brazil, she graduated with a Business Management major and Marketing minor from Nove de Julho University and also has an MBA in Strategic Management. Carolina lived in the United States and Portugal, where she specialised in Sales & People Management. She is a native Portuguese speaker, fluent in English and have a good understanding in Spanish.
Chia-Wei assists with sales to the French-speaking World, Canada, India, North Africa, the Middle East, Turkey, Australia, New Zealand, China, Taiwan, Japan and Korea. She previously worked in the Taiwan Public Television Service Foundation and Kaohsiung Film Archive (Taiwan). Chia-Wei graduated with a Master’s degree in Preservation and Presentation of the Moving Image from the University of Amsterdam (The Netherlands) and completed her internship at the program department of the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam. She’s a native Mandarin speaker and fluent in English.
Klara assists with sales to the German-speaking world, Benelux, Scandinavia, Eastern Europe, the Baltics, Russia & CIS, Greece, Israel, Malta, Cyprus, the United States and Pan Global deals. Furthermore, she handles footage & educational deals. She graduated with a BA degree in Middle-Eastern Studies and Russian language from the University of Amsterdam. Before joining OTF, Klara completed an internship at a Prague based think-tank on European Values. Klara is from the Czech Republic and is fluent in Dutch and English, with a good understanding of German and Russian.
