Ralf joined Off the Fence in 2008. Since then he has been producing, writing and directing major primetime documentaries mainly for ZDF and Arte. In 2014 he received the prestigious „Bayerische Fernsehpreis“ for his work on the Terra X production „Expedition Germany“. Originally a biologist and science historian, Ralf has many years of experience as a natural history, science and history producer and writer. Ralf is responsible for reinforcing Off the Fence’s already strong ties to the German-speaking market and supporting the company’s rapid expansion through its offices in Bristol, LA, and Cape Town.
