Just how big and how bad are the bugs of the world? Bugman Ruud Kleinpaste is taking us on an entomological odyssey around the globe in search of the ultimate biggest and “baddest” creepy crawlies.
Along the way Ruud explains exactly what makes the “stars” of the show so amazing, while his unbridled enthusiasm for some of the world’s most detested creatures ensures that even the arachnophobics see their nemeses in a new light!
Throughout the journey Ruud sacrifices his well-being, at times his safety as he tries to understand the incredible abilities of his bug buddies.
Ruud will do almost anything in his quest for knowledge. To help us viewers understand just what bugs are about, Ruud performs a variety of stunts that range from suffering the jungle’s most painful sting to pitting himself against a Sumo wrestler!! to show how size brings great wealth in bugland. Ruud gets uncomfortably up close with all sorts of bugs, including a swarm of killer bees, a column of army ants and giant cockroaches.
World’s Biggest Baddest Bugs showcases these tiny terrors in a totally new way. We take an intimate look at the bugs while Ruud reveals what makes them kings of the bug world and how these creatures are capable of so much more than just frightening us.
