OFF THE FENCE SECURES OVER 300 HOURS OF EUROPEAN, MIDDLE EAST AND LATIN AMERICAN SALES

Leading global distribution and production company, Off the Fence (OTF) has today announced sales amounting to more than 300 hours to a range of leading European, Middle Eastern and Latin American broadcasters.

In Poland, TVN Poland has acquired Aerial America (22x60’) and Secret Lives of Women (55x60’) whilst TV Polska picked up Monkey Thieves 3 (26x30’) and Wild & Woolly (1x60’).

Al Jazeera has acquired 19 titles of science and nature including Lost in the Amazon (1x60’), Decline of the Western World (1x120’), The Impossible Lens (1x60’), Mystery of the Missing Spy Plane (1x60’) and Sea of Death (1x60’).

Elsewhere in Europe, LTV Latvia has taken Wildest Africa (13x60’), Wildest India (5x60’), Nomads (43x60’) and Focused (44x30’), whilst UKTV has acquired Sea of Death (1x60’).

These deals were brokered by Mark Dee-Shapland.

Major Latin America broadcasters Turner Latin America and Discovery Hispanics have picked up a total of 40 hours with titles including Little Miss Perfect (18x60’) and The Locator series 1 and 2 (22x60’).

Once Mexico has acquired 15 hours of Most Extreme, Monkey Thieves 1 (26x30’) and one-off special Elizabeth Killer Queen whilst TVC Televisio De Catalunya bought a 19 hour package including Wildest Africa, Wildest India and Ocean Voyager.

Alexa Dubard is responsible for sales in Latin America.

    Off the Fence (OTF) has signed a deal with Malaysia’s Ideate Media – a joint venture between Astro Overseas and Khazanah Nasional, the investment holdings arm of the Government of Malaysia – to be its factual content partner. The deal will see OTF jointly create new factual content from a production slate with a total worth in excess of $20m, that it will then take to the global marketplace.
