Gun Trucks Of Vietnam
Gun Trucks Of Vietnam 1 x 60'
Gun Trucks of Vietnam is a special that reveals the stories of the U.S. Army’s Gun Truckers during the Vietnam War. The Truckers were the front men—first into battle, first into enemy territory, and always volunteers. These men were considered the elite of their division. Fear breeds solidarity and the bond between the Gun Truck crews were some of the most intense of the war. The Truckers were tasked with leading and protecting convoys—groups of men, vehicles, equipment and supplies—that were the lifeblood of U.S. Army base camps (most under attack) spread throughout Vietnam. If the convoys didn’t arrive safely, lives were at stake and our nation’s missions compromised.
