Arlington - Call To Honor
1 x 60'
All graveyards tell stories, but few can talk to the living like Arlington. It’s here that America buries its war dead – from the Revolutionary War to Iraq.
Each section reflects a time in history, each stone in the endless rows of white marble tells a story.
Today, more than 27 burials take place daily, each meticulously planned by the cemetery staff - rifle salutes, flag draped coffins, caissons with a riderless horse and the Arlington ladies.
Along with President Kennedy’s tomb, the most popular place at the cemetery is the Tomb of the Unknowns, guarded 24 hours a day by highly trained members of the Old Guard.
