Baby New At The Zoo
1 x 30'
Meet the babies of the National Zoo in Washington DC – cute, cuddly and born to be wild. In this program, we meet the offspring of four very special animals: the Golden Lion Tamarin, the Sumatran tiger, the Kori bustard, and the sloth bear.
Meet Samba and Gisela, twin Golden Lion Tamarins from Brazil. In the wild, tamarin families patrol an area about the size of two football fields. Lesson one for these little guys is learning how to defend their territory. Then, get acquainted with Gunture, a male Sumatran tiger cub as he learns to stalk and hunt for food. Finally, meet the world’s largest flying birds – once they’re adults, anyway – the Kori bustard. An adult can stand more than four feet tall and weigh 40lb.
From Africa to Brazil, India and beyond, follow us around the world to see the cutest babies in the world.
