Otters Of Yellowstone, The
1 x 60'
It seems there is never a dull moment for the otters of Yellowstone national park – running, playing, sliding, fishing, raising a family and eluding the local wily coyotes keep these irresistible little animals going all day and year round.
Otters depend on open water and the fish that live in it. They are able to thrive in the beautiful lakes and rivers of Yellowstone because its thermal pools keep some lakes warm all year. But they must compete for food with others who depend on it, like bald eagles and coyotes, predators who would be only too glad to have otter on the menu, as well as fish. The otters need every bit of their cunning and speed to beat the odds.
