Mardi Gras
Mardi Gras 1 x 60'
It's the biggest, wildest, sexiest, dirtiest party in the world. Every year more than a million people descend on the city of New Orleans, and the streets fill with a sea of revellers. People from all walks of life flock here to be a part of the rituals and traditions that make Mardi Gras.

We go behind the scenes of one of the largest, most popular parading krewes called Orpheus. Every year Sonny Borey and Ardley Hanneman single-handedly coordinate the construction of 27 elaborate, hand decorated floats, the logistics of 1,200 krewe members, 25 marching bands, and a 4,500 person post-parade bash. Then, we venture to the back streets of New Orleans to explore the parades of the Mardi Gras Indians, African American New Orleans residents whose elaborate costumes, music, and ritualized dancing offer a glimpse into New Orleans rich and complex cultural history.

It’s the party to end all parties, and you’re invited!
