WE TV RENEWS DISTRIBUTION DEAL WITH LONGSTANDING PARTNER, OFF THE FENCE
WE tv announced today that they have re-upped an exclusive distribution agreement with leading worldwide distributer, Off the Fence. The agreement was renewed for an additional distribution cycle. WE tv and Off the Fence have been partners since 2008.
The agreement will see Off the Fence distributing about 1,100 hours of linear television and digital content both domestically and internationally. WE tv’s slate of original programming includes Mary Mary, a popular docu-series which chronicles the lives of Erica and Tina Campbell, sisters and members of the contemporary gospel group; Love Blows, an unscripted series about a successful family run Chicago-based matchmaking service; and Hustle & Soul, a docu-series which follows chef Lawrence Page as he works to make his restaurant the first soul food restaurant to attain a Michelin star. Other programming includes the popular Growing Up Hip Hop franchise, Dr. Miami, LA Hair, Driven to Love, Ghosts in the Hood, and Million Dollar Matchmaker.
WE tv has solidified itself as a popular destination for viewers looking for interesting storylines with authentic and relatable characters. The networks brand defining shows have helped mark WE tv as the #1 cable network for African-American women and adults on Thursday nights as well as a top five destination for women on Friday nights.
