episode description
Along Brazil’s Vermelho River, giant otter cub Rio and his siblings leave the safety of their den for the first time. They’ve never been in the water before, but over the next few months they need to become expert swimmers, capable of catching their own dinner, while avoiding hungry predators that roam the river. It’s up to their family to protect the cubs, and teach them the skills they’ll need to survive in this hostile wilderness. Their group will be pushed to the limits over the coming months, and if they don’t all work together then it could be fatal.
