In 'Dinosaurs Of The Deep' we accompany a team of WildOceans’ scientists uncovering the mysteries behind the deep oceans. With only 32 individuals known to exist off the coast of South Africa, central to the storytelling will be the quest to discover the 33rd coelacanth. Often referred to as the dinosaur fish, the coelacanth occupies a unique place in the fossil record, and when it was rediscovered almost a century ago it shook the scientific community. We follow its journey to the present day, accompanying scientists on an expedition to uncover more of their secrets and behaviours.
