Comedian Baron Vaughn (Grace & Frankie, Mystery Science 3000) grew up without father. At 35, this is the first time he is asking hard questions and digging into his familys past. With the support of his mother and his girlfriend and with the help of a private investigator he sets out to meet his father for the first time. On this journey he explores what it means to be a black man who grew up without a father and the importance of the village that raised him while cracking a few jokes along the way.
