Conditions in the High Arctic are too extreme for either man or dog to survive alone but together we have become native to the vast white expanses. Here dogs became our greatest allies. Theyre our eyes, ears, strength and stamina; our closest connection to a wild and unforgiving nature. In this magical yet unforgiving land, the enduring bond between human and canine goes beyond friendship to total mutual dependence. As one of the oldest breeds in the world, Greenland dogs are celebrated as the pinnacle of high performance and endurance in polar regions.
