synopsis
Kanga Pan An African Horror Story is a spine-chilling, one-off wildlife documentary set at a little-known inland waterhole in Zimbabwes Mana Pools National Park. During the harsh dry season, Kanga Pan becomes the only source of water for miles, drawing a dangerous mix of predators and prey. What appears to be a peaceful oasis quickly turns sinister as animals begin to vanish. A hidden terror stalks the pan, turning each visit for water into a deadly gamble and setting the stage for a gripping mystery. The one-hour film is narrated through the eyes of a mature male baboon who notices the growing body count. As he investigates, evidence points to a resident pride of lions, but the truth is darker still. Just as he believes he understands the threat, a second, silent killer emergesthe leopard. This docu-horror builds relentless tension to a devastating final reveal.
