Through deeply personal stories, 'Let Us Be' reveals the human rights struggle surrounding non-consensual surgeries performed on Intersex children, while examining the rigid binaries that continue to shape our understanding of sex and gender. From childhood experiences and family relationships to questions of identity, acceptance and belonging, the film gives voice to people seeking the freedom to live authentically in bodies that challenge conventional definitions. By bringing these experiences into the light, 'Let Us Be' offers a powerful reflection on autonomy, dignity and human rights, while celebrating the diversity of human experience and challenging audiences to reconsider the assumptions placed on bodies and identities. A World Premiere at the Raindance Film Festival, where it was nominated for Best Documentary Feature (June 20, 2026).
