This film is a look at the life and legacy of critically acclaimed television writer-producer Sam Simon as he fought two battles one against cancer and another for animal rights. Sam Simon, best known for co-creating The Simpsons, was diagnosed with terminal colorectal cancer in 2012 and passed away on March 8, 2015 at the age of 59. As he battled cancer, Simon chose to give away most of his fortune to save animals from harmful and abusive situations worldwide.
