synopsis
After being told he needs a second heart transplant, professional fisherman Aaron ‘Red’ Habgood decides to embark on the fishing trip of a lifetime, aiming to tick off Australia’s most iconic fish species from his bucket list. With his best mate Kane Reardon by his side, the duo sets off on an unforgettable journey across the country, exploring both offshore and inland waters in pursuit of challenging and beautiful catches. From the elusive Bluefin Tuna and mighty Marlin, to the prized Trout and Snapper, Aaron and Kane venture to some of the country’s most beautiful locations, all whilst connecting with knowledgeable locals and, of course, ticking off their bucket list.
