This is an engineering story about building the worlds ultimate multi-function sports complex. Costing more than a billion US dollars, the ambitious project includes an ingenious indoor aquatics centre that can hold up 6,000 people, a multi-purpose arena, water sports centre, and retail facilities. The jewel-in-the-crown is a cutting edge 55,000-seat national stadium with a unique, opening domed roof.
