synopsis

On the Liuwa Plains of Zambia, the circle of life is broken after lions are wiped out, leaving one mysterious survivor. When filmmakers and conservationists discover the lone lioness, they launch an ambitious plan to rebuild a pride by introducing new lions. Over six turbulent years, violence, fear, and setbacks threaten the project as lions scatter, clash, and face danger from humans and rival predators. With only three lions remaining, hope hangs by a thread. Against the odds, their survival sparks the rebirth of a dynasty, proving that even a lost kingdom can rise again and restore balance to plains. This is part of the Stories of Africa Strand.
