synopsis

Tigers with their solitary lives, are among the most secretive & intriguing of the big cats. Filmed over 7 years, this series delves deep into their lives, discovering rarely filmed behaviour & hunting styles. For the first time, 4 tigresses, their mates & cubs appear as main characters, with their lives eventually connecting across territories. Using screenplay & maps, the series goes between the lives & challenges of all 4 families. The series presents one of Indias most famous tigresses & also a neighbouring tigress, as the same male tiger is the mate of one tigress & the aggressor of the other. To the south live 2 tigresses that hunt Gaur or Indian Bison that weigh 5 times more. Tiger Legacy is the grand saga of these tigers and the biodiversity rich forests of Tadoba with its stunning species.
