synopsis

This film brings you up close and personal to the men and women who do the most exciting and dangerous jobs on what is essentially a floating city A US Navy Aircraft Carrier. With a crew of over 5,000, every job is essential to the mission but some jobs put people in precarious positions. From the coloured shirt teams on the flight deck, who dodge landing and departing aircraft, to the people who load and arm highly explosive weapons, to the teams that perform the incredible high wire act required to bring supplies on board, and of course the pilots who make the impossible act of landing a fighter jet on a tiny moving target at sea. Complete with specially declassified footage, this is a unique behind the scenes look at this fascinating world.
