synopsis

In 2020, Covid-19 brought African tourism to a grinding halt, leaving rangers' livelihoods hanging in the balance, and exposing vulnerable wildlife to poaching. So wildlife conservation groups TUSK and Natural State, threw down the gauntlet and challenged Africa’s rangers to an epic mission - the Wildlife Ranger Challenge. 2000 rangers across the continent are training to run an arduous half marathon across 20 African countries with one goal in mind: to raise money to support thousands of rangers and their families and help protect iconic African wildlife.
