Episode Information

The film follows life in one of Saudi Arabia’s busiest fire stations during summer – one of the busiest times of year. With daily temperatures over 50C, it’s one of the harshest environments for a fire fighter to work. With unprecedented access behind the scenes at Washm Station, and using thermal imaging cameras and a range of smaller cameras, the film crew accompanied the firemen right into the heart of the fires. The film conveys the intensity of the experience and the danger that the fire fighters face every day. In particular, this film reveals the camaraderie forged in these harsh conditions.
