Episode Information

Turkey’s Hidden Gems takes the viewer on an epic, cinematic road trip across Turkey, from East to West. In each episode Nat Geo Explorer Andrew Evans visits a different region; Anatolia, the Aegean, and finally the incredible city of Istanbul, to discover a surprisingly diverse country of stark contrasts.

Our host delves into Turkey’s secrets, meeting local “ambassadors” who help unveil its long and varied history. The series reveals a country brimming with ancient architecture, rich in history, culture, food and natural wonder, but also a land full of unique adventures giving our host the opportunity to immerse himself in many of Turkey’s diverse experiences, often in some of the planet’s most breathtaking scenery.

In true National Geographic style, all three episodes incorporate incredible cinematography, timelapse and aerial photography, capturing the history, tradition, and spirit of this beautiful country in all its glory.
