Episode Information

In Southern Africa, Zimbabwe is home to some of the world’s most magnificent elephants. These are the Great Tuskers. But this unique tusker gene pool is diminishing each year…dwindling forever to poaching and unethical trophy hunting. Now, for the first time ever, in an attempt to hold on to these great animals, The Zimbabwe National Parks Authority is allowing a dedicated team to attempt to collar and monitor three great tuskers, from three different Zimbabwean national parks. Each elephant must have distinct and different characteristics… unique to the habitats in which they have evolved. Should these great tuskers wander outside the national Park boundaries, trophy hunting of these 3 animals will be strictly forbidden. This is a quest to save an outstanding gene pool, in an attempt to let it thrive for generations to come. Join this team of motivated people, appealing for ethical thinking to preserve a national treasure. The Mission? Let the great tusker gene pool thrive!
