Episode Information

This lively activity can be especially well observed among lions. While sime of the offspring are nursed in the shade, the others are already in full action. Overly playful, they chase each other, climb over lionesses, or wrestle on the ground. Pouncing, hiding and biting, they playfully practice the skills they'll need as fully grown lions. Even the older siblings are not out of the playful age. Although they have already lost their young cub features, they still play with each other just like the youngest ones. In pursuit, they practice pred-ator behavior, naturally without deploying their sharp teeth and claws. This way, the young animals gradually prepare themselves for the challenges to come!
