Episode Information

This is the story of a dedicated team of marine experts, whom risk their lives saving sick, injured, trapped and orphaned marine animals. When marine animals become trapped, injured, sick or are orphaned, the team move in. From the beautiful humpback whales that migrate north but get entangled and face drowning in shark nets, to a critically endangered shark who faces starvation because it has a large fishing hook stuck in its mouth, no challenge is too big for Ocean Rescue. The team also battles to rescue and rehabilitate wildlife from seals, dolphins, and turtles to sea snakes. It’s a chance to see a world most humans would normally never have the chance to explore. This inspiring program also reminds us how people and pollution pose an increasing risk to marine life but offers practical ways we can help our underwater friends.
