episode description
We built this 1985 Chevrolet Square Body truck for an Atlanta-based caregiver named LaQuell. She helped save lives during the pandemic while losing her own father to Covid. She is an extraordinary woman who takes care of others round the clock, but she has no car. We built LaQuell a Chevy truck just like the one her late father used to have, in which they shared many fond memories. We also went wild with this one and painted it a unique shade of pink—LaQuell’s favorite color. In this episode, we got to know the accomplice, LaQuelle’s best friend, quite well and decided to surprise her with a car too! You’ll have to tune in next week to see how her special story unfolds. We revealed the Chevy truck and a Cadillac Escalade to both women at a famous drive-in theater, just like the one LaQuell used to go to with her father.
