We built this 1973 VW Super Beetle for a woman named Neesa. She founded two charities—one helps former prisoners get back on their feet, and another is an educational charity that benefits children. She was forced to sell her VW to pay for college and has longed to get another one ever since. Her friend James submitted her story— and we loved it. We revealed the VW to her at the Cruisin’ The Coast car show in the Mississippi Gulf Coast, which is the biggest outdoor car show in the country. The mayor of Gulfport came out and handed the keys to Neesa in a special moment. Her VW was named Meadow Lark, so her new ROYL Garage-built VW shares the same name..
