We built the 1965 GTO convertible for Rob, a navy veteran who was a black aces pilot from Panama City Beach, Florida. We revealed it to him at the famous FloraBama bar on the Florida/Alabama border. It’s a unique episode because his neighbor submitted his story. Rob had to part ways with the GTO years ago when times got tough, and he talks about it daily to his friends and neighbors. He used to park his gorgeous GTO in a special, front row space dedicated to him at the famous bar. Of course, we parked his new GTO, built by ROYL Garage, in that exact memorable space while surprising him in an epic reveal. The mayor of Orange Beach came out to join us.
