synopsis

In South Africa’s Londolozi Game Reserve, a powerful leopardess named Manana lives a life shaped by danger and solitude. For 16 years, wildlife cameraman John Varty follows her unarmed, documenting rare and intimate moments of leopard life, from fierce hunts to the tragic loss of cubs. Over time, Manana’s wariness turns into an extraordinary trust. In her final weeks, she allows Varty to walk beside her during a hunt, an almost unheard of act for such a secretive predator.
