synopsis

In different parts of Africa, dedicated teams are working 24-7 to raise baby elephants and rhinos as the poaching crisis continues to rage. In South Africa, Petronel Nieuwoudt, oversees the operations at the world's largest rhino orphanage. Here a team of volunteers work around the clock to rehabilitate, rewild, and release baby rhinos whose mothers have fallen victim to poaching. In Botswana, a team of dedicated experts headed up by Dr Mike Chase and elephant manager Wellington Jana are caring for a baby orphaned elephant called Naledi. When Naledi refuses milk, the team learns that love is the answer as they step in to become her mothers.
