Streetkings in Jail is a four-part documentary series following street football legend Edward van Gils as he explores how the sport can transform lives within prison systems. Teaming up with global football icons such as Juan Pablo Ángel, Kevin Kurányi, Gilberto Silva and Ruud Gullit, each episode takes him to a different country—including Colombia, Germany, Brazil and the Netherlands—to meet inmates and uncover hidden talent. The series examines how football offers discipline, hope and rehabilitation, revealing why some gifted players rise to fame while others end up incarcerated, and highlighting sport’s powerful role in second chances
