In this uplifting series "Planet School", six pupils tell us about the most special features of their schools. Each of the six episodes covers an entire school day and makes it possible to experience the lessons, teaching concept, as well as the feelings and thoughts of the pupils. What do the children love about their schools? What do they dislike? How do they spend recess and how do they make friends? How do they handle exams and challenges?
Keanen attends the most enjoyable school in the world in the USA, where lesson subjects are conveyed playfully with music, fun and motion. Soumya in India studies at the largest school in the world, and must work hard to stand out among a mass of 55,000 pupils. Kawser in Bangladesh has a floating classroom. His school is a boat that collects Kawser and his friends at home. Mia from Paraguay crosses her country's border every day to go to school in Argentina. For Stella in Denmark, school morphs into the Titanic – lessons are part of a different roleplaying game here every week. Miro, at the other end of the world, leaves her school uniform at home once per week to attend an outdoor school in the rainforest of New Zealand.
Each of these six children has to handle a very special challenge. This may be dance, singing, a presentation or sports competition. Mastering their tasks is very important to the kids, and they will let us accompany them and watch.
