Meet guerrilla rewilder Derek Gow, who’s shaking up the British countryside. Derek is a farmer, ecologist and maverick rewilder. He’s bringing back life to Britain’s landscape, one beaver at a time. Derek believes that Britain is one of the world's most nature-depleted countries, but not if he was in charge! He’s transformed his 150-acre farm into a rewilded paradise with many ancient species roaming free; from iron-age pigs, wildcats and storks to water voles and most famously - beavers. To many ecologists he’s a visionary, to government officials he’s a pain in the backside.
