Wyeths, The: A Father And His Family
Wyeths, The: A Father And His Family 1 x 60'
Great families have figured large in American life since earliest times. This is a portrait of a great family in American art, or rather a portrait of an immensely vital American artist as told by his extraordinary children.

Newel Converse Wyeth was the creator of marvellous illustrations for a long shelf of classics: Robin Hood, Treasure Island, The Last of the Mohicans. But his favourite legacy was his five children.

This is a portrait in film. It’s about growing up in an often magical household in which being creative and being alive were one in the same thing, and about the adored father whose influence is still felt long after his tragic death.
